‘Ooyala’ comes to the rescue of unwanted babies in Telangana’s Karimnagar
Karimnagar district’s ‘Cradle initiative’ is yielding positive results, preventing child abandonment. Five hospitals established ‘Cradle Baby Reception Centres’ ensuring anonymity for those leaving infants. Recently, a 15-month-old boy was placed in a cradle at Matha Sishu Hospital and transferred to Sishu Gruha for medical care.
